BMW’s intellectual property attorney Mike Kondoudis confirmed that three trademark applications have been filed to bring a host of products and services to Web 3. They outlined their intentions for the brand logo to span across collectibles such as virtual clothing, footwear, headwear, and vehicles.

Another german car manufacturer is entering web3: Porsche. The brand announced that it will be launching a collection of 7500 NFTs in January 2023, which will be available to purchase on the official Porsche Web3 marketplace.

Non-fungible token (NFT) and gaming investor Animoca Brands plans to set up a fund worth as much as $2 billion to invest in metaverse businesses. The aim is to unveil the fund called Animoca Capital with plans to make its first investment next year.
